While staying at Sol House, a transitional living program for homeless teens in Columbia, Mo., Krystal Whitaker, 17, listens while a resident reads a compliment to her as part of their Life Skills class. Whitaker is 2 months pregnant and never planned on having a baby. "I was so scared. I planned on having an abortion and it just didn't happen that way," she said.
